Doctors Research Group Pure Tone Mentor Traditional stethoscopes feature External Noise Reduction tube technology and are designed to let you hear both high and low frequency sounds from a dual lumen, single sided chest piece.
Acoustics - The PureTone Mentor Traditional features a solid, stainless steel, double sided chest piece. This high quality stethoscope offers a diaphragm on diaphragm tunable to monitor both high and low frequency sounds without moving the chest piece. or pressing a button. The DRG patented dual lumen ENR (external noise reduction) tube technology significantly reduces the amount of external noise heard through the stethoscope, while its stainless steel coil optimizes internal acoustics.
Durability - DRG PureTone stethoscopes are designed for long lasting durability. The tubing is made of custom formulated neoprene that allows you to fold or bend the scope without the worry of cracking, kinking or breaking. The binaurals are made of 300 series stainless steel and are barbed to lock the eartip in place.
Comfort - DRG's PureTone stethoscopes are designed with comfort in mind for both the professional and the patient. The anatomically matched rotating binaurals, coupled with the black Gel Seal eartips ensure an uncompromising acoustic seal and a comfortable fit. Each stethoscope comes with 12 DRG SafeSeal diaphragms, which provide a soft, non-chill surface, and offers a more comfortable patient experience. The Safe Seal features an antimicrobial compound which helps to prevent the growth of health-threatening microbes, while delivering PureTone quality sound transmissions. All PureTone stethoscopes are equipped with an anti-slip ring, which increases friction to prevent the scope from slipping of the user's neck.
