The Baby Bjorn Baby Infant Carrier Cover keeps baby warm and dry. The Baby Bjorn Cover is made of a soft, breathable fleece fabric that is water and wind resistant. It features a protective, removable hood that is reversible, allowing you to carry baby facing in or out. Fits all Baby Bjorn Baby Carriers and can be left in place on the carrier when you remove your baby. Can also be used as a cover or blanket for car seats and strollers. All fabrics are machine washable Oko-Tex class 1 certified (materials guaranteed harmless to infants).

The sun cover also features a protective, detachable hood. It can be used both when you carry your child facing you or facing forward. You can even lift your child out of the baby carrier without taking the sun cover off

Sun Protection
Ultra violet protection factor UPF 40, which blocks out 97% of all harmful UV radiation. UPF is the global rating system for sun protective clothing. Testing is done against the Australian/New Zealand Standard 4399:1996.

Materials
100% polyester fabric.

The textiles closest to the child have been tested and approved in accordance with Oeko-Tex Standard 100, class 1 for baby products. They are guaranteed harmless to children’s sensitive skin and will not trigger allergies.

Product care
Machine wash, warm (40 °C).

Keep in mind:
Check the UV index for your area daily. If the UV index is 3 or higher, you and your child should stay in the shade. Avoid exposure to the sun completely 10 am – 3 pm.

Remember that the sun’s rays reach areas in the shade and radiation can be high even on a cloudy day.

When you are in the sun, keep an eye on your child and make certain that he or she is not too hot. Make sure your child’s entire body is protected, including hands and feet.
