The Compex Performance US is our newest Muscle Stimulator recommended for the fitness enthusiast and/or the athlete which engages in frequent competition. It features a total of 5 programs with 5 levels of progression to help competitive athletes achieve the highest level of performance.
Compex Performance Training Programs:
- Endurance Program
- Targets slow twitch muscle fibers. Increases capillarization of the muscles and establishes a working regimen for developing the oxidative power of the endurance muscle fibers.
- Resistance Program
- Targets both slow and fast twitch muscle fibers. Builds muscle size, strength and density.
- Strength Program
- Targets fast twitch muscle fibers. Increases sheer strength and works the muscles at maximum power with less risk of injury to joints and tendons and virtually no cardiovascular or mental fatigue.
- Active Recovery
- Does not contract the muscle. Clears lactic acid, increases blood flow, promotes muscle relaxation and enables faster recovery.
- Pre-Warmup Program
- Does not contract the muscle. Runs at a low frequency and increases blood flow and oxygenates the muscles prior to a workout or competition. This program is recommended if there is any risk of cramp.

Compex Performance Electrodes Easy Snap Set(2 units),, 2 in x 2 in

Compex electrodes are used during muscle stimulation with Compex devices. The electrodes play a big part in the Compex muscle stimulation session. They are the points where the pulses are transmitted to your motor nerves, and ultimately your muscle fibers. If the Compex electrodes arent adhering properly, the electrical pulse cant be delivered at the intensity needed to work your muscle at peak effectiveness.
A Compex electrode is coated with a strong medical-grade adhesive, developed to stick to your skin. Used in normal circumstances, a Compex electrode should last 15 to 20 sessions.
You need to replace these muscle stimulation electrodes when any of the following situations arise:
- (a) They wont adhere to your skin
- (b) When the same intensity setting of the program creates less intense or uncomfortable muscle contractions
- (c) A build-up of lint or dust covers the surface.
