Features
The new KidCo Angle-Mount Safeway Baby/Pet Gate is a perfect choice where mounting points are not straight across from each other. The Safeway has angle-mount hardware that allows the metal gate to be installed in any position, including on angled banisters and walls.
The hardware allows the gate to swing both ways and has a stopping feature to prevent the gate from swinging over the stairs. The hardware also allows the safety gate to be quickly released from its mountings as desired.
It stands 31" high and is constructed of strong tubular steel. Perfect for the top of stairs, as a window barrier, or at a doorway. Mount directly to walls and banisters or add a gate mounting kit if you have hollw walls, baseboards, or dont want to screw into your banisters or woodwork.
One-hand adult operation of child-proof latch. Basic gate fits openings 28" to 42.5" wide. Optional extensions available for larger openings. Available in Black and White.

The beauty of todays homes is the diversity of designs and materials used for stairways, room openings and doorways. Because of this, the installation of child safety gates can be difficult since a "one size fits all" gate design does not exist.
In the Stairway Gate Installation Kit (Model K12), KidCo has assembled the materials and fasteners necessary to properly install any child safety gate to stairway banisters, without drilling into your expensive, decorative wood.
One kit is required for each side of the gate that is being mounted to a banister; and only the most basic tools are needed to assemble any good child safety gate.
For use at the top or bottom of stairs with hardware or pressure mount gates. The hardware is designed to fit square posts 2 1/2" - 3 5/8" wide or use the included insert for round post installation.

KidCo has assembled the materials and fasteners necessary to properly install any child safety gate to wood banisters, hollow wall (drywall) or wrought iron. The KidCo Gate Installation Kit can save several trips to the lumber yard and hardware store. When mounting the gates to unusual surfaces such as brick or concrete, KidCo recommends that you consult a hardware professional, baby shop or baby proofing specialist.
One kit is required for each side of the gate that is not being mounted into a solid vertical wood surface and only the most basic tools are needed to assemble any good child safety gate.
