Warning - this seat is only suited for use in vehicles fitted with 3-point safety belts (that is, a basic shoulder-strap belt, not a lap-belt only), approved to ECE Regulation No. 16 or other equivalent standards.Alsom due to the extra weight on this product it is required under US specification FMVSS that you use the provided Tether on this product. This means it won't work, say in the back seat of an extended cab pick up truck. The good side of this is that it is stable and won't fall over, like many booster seats do. It is only forward-facing. Recaro Start is NOT approved for aircraft use as aircraft do not have shoulder belts.
