This crib mattress features the Eco Classica I foam. The foam that is used in this unit is partially made with plant resins. Using this type of foam minimizes the carbon footprint of this unit. Covering the foam and the barrier fabric is a waterproof Organic Cotton cover. The waterproofing is done on the underside of the Organic Cotton so that the part closest to the baby is the Organic Cotton. This unit is for the parent that likes Classica I crib mattress, but wants a more ecologically minded crib mattress.
