- Closed System– Ameda Purely Yours uses the HygieniKit Milk Collection System, which features a patented diaphragm, which prevents milk and moisture from entering into the pump's tubing. This saves clean up time since the tubes do not require washing after each use. The HygieniKit is dishwasher safe and can even convert to a manual pump.
- FDA Approved – The HygieniKit is the only milk collection system approved by the FDA to protect against cross contamination. It also safeguards the purity of expressed milk from bacteria and viruses by keeping milk and outside air separate from each other.
- BPA Free - All parts of the Ameda Purely Yours are made without BPA.

A proper fitting breast flange can make all the difference between continuing to breastfeed and early weaning. The Ameda Custom Flanges with inserts should be used when a standard sized flange is too small for comfortable pumping. This product provides mothers with a larger flange and special reducing inserts to create an “in-between” size…larger than our standard HygieniKit Flange, but smaller than the Custom Flange alone!

The Ameda Flexishield Areola Stimulator is a comfortable, flexible insert that fits any Ameda breast shield and provides increased stimulation to the areola area. It mimics the feel of a baby's mouth and helps stimulate the letdown reflex. The Flexishield can be helpful for mothers with engorgement allowing for a softer more flexible surface to touch the breast. It also reduces shield size for maximum effectiveness with smaller breasts.
